Cheese Wheel
Ingredients
- 2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed
- A wheel of brie or similar cheese
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp pesto
- Handful of chopped nuts
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180C and line a flat baking tray with baking paper.

Place a sheet of pastry on the baking tray.

Microwave the honey in a small bowl for 10 seconds to make it runny, then mix it with the pesto.

Spread the honey and pesto mix onto the pastry, then place the cheese in the center.

Sprinkle chopped nuts over the pastry and cheese, then place the other pastry sheet over the top.

Shape the top pastry around the cheese, taking care not to break it.

Cut 8 slits in both sheets of pastry in even spaces around the cheese. The cuts should go from the bottom of the cheese to the edge of the pastry.

Twist each of the newly created flaps over themselves once, then place in the oven for ~25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.

After it’s cooked, cut the top off the cheese with a sharp knife, break off the flaps, dip, and enjoy.
